I'm gonna be helping my Mom take down the old, out-dated wallpaper in the bathroom. We'll be painting the wall afterward so I don't want to damage the surface. What's a good, not costly way to do it? Please help me get rid of that amazingly bad wallpaper!

Doesn't seem as if the compressor even wants to start. Fired it up for the first time this season and only the fan operates. What could be the problem? My guesses so far are 1. Thermostat (but I thought the compressor would at least come on for a second). 2. Some relay for the compressor (I can't hear the compressor even try to turn on). This unit is only about 3 years old. Must be something simple.

Help!

I wanted to install a line of LED lighting underneath the overhang of the deck over the pool. Think the right angle at the top of the liner, where the liner meets the deck. It won't be in the water, but I wanted to run a line of lighting around the circumference of the pool. Even though, is there a regulator you have to attach to the line somewhere so that voltage can not flow into the water unchecked? Just in case any current got into the pool itself.

I have one of those Easy Set 15'x48" pools. Should I cover it or no? It's really cloudy right now. Is this because the alkalanity is high?

We are new owners of an above ground pool. The salespeople at the place we purchased the pool from have not been very helpful. I just called to ask why we did not receive our cover with the pool. The man told me we would receive it at the end of the season. I said then, well, we have to purchase a cover for the summer then? He said no, you do not cover the pool in the summer. Is this true? Are you supposed to leave it open during the summer? When I was a kid my friend's family would cover the pool every night in order to keep it clean. I am baffled. Thanks in advance!

I bought a cheap Air Conditioner last year. It worked ok. I live on the top floor of my apartment building so it gets pretty hot during the day. I leave the AC on low all day because I have long-haired cats.

This year, the AC cools for 10, 15 minutes, makes a loud sound like "DONK" and then only the fan keeps working. After 10 minutes it makes another sound, like a thick click, and it starts cooling again. It just keeps cycling like that, regardless of how warm or cool the room is. It barely cools anything off. It is a cheap one, a Haier... one of those Made in China brands, and you can't add freon.

Is it dying? Did I 'burn it out" by running it almost non-stop all last summer?

My dad has these flowers in his front yard that bloom new flowers each day. They are purple flowers. They bloom in the morning and as soon as the sun starts to set they fall off and start growing the new ones for the next day. He has no clue what the name of the flower is just that it is really cool. Can anyone help me find this.

Thanks!!

I'm painting my bedroom a light brown color.
The bedroom is set up so that when you walk in, there are windows straight ahead, the headboard is against the wall on the right and the dresser is across from the windows. A TV will be hung on the remaining wall across from the bed. I don't think I should paint ALL of them. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Hello!
Thank's for all of your good answers guys.
I have a question about my refrigerator. In the beggining there was a water under it,later when I checked up everything I noticed that the pipes coming out of the compresor are frozen, there is a frost inside in the cooler section too on the walls. The refrigerator is working with no brake I haven't heard it to stop lately.I'm upset other than that it keeps all of the things cold.Should I worry?
Please help me....
