Hi im looking at buying a used Kubota tractor but im not sure which one to get. I own 5 acres...I want to mow 2.5 and brush hog 2.5....I would also like to get a front end loader for it...
I do not want to be underpowered!!! And would prefer a gear transmission...
also i have never owned a diesel tractor.....about how many hours can one expect to get before rebuilding one...
thank you for your answers

Diesel engines last a long time. The horsepower needed depends on what you plan on doing with the end loader attachment. I had a 20 HP tractor and it was all I needed. Not to bash anyone but, check out other tractor brands before you buy. If you have never bought parts for a Kubota, you will be in shock when you do.

diesel engines last forever if maintained. check for a local auction and other brands too. my neighbor got a tractor, bulldozer and backhoe all at a farm auction place..
