WD-40 and a NEW razor blade. Spray the adhesive, let it soak, then scrape away the mess. Clean up after with Windex or other glass cleaner.

A sharp single sided razor blade or glass scraper. With a car windscreen use a new one in case of scratching, as it will remove the residue.
Meths could be used if there is any residue.

I just moved from Austin where we had two stickers on the front windshield. I soaked in Goo Gone (orange oil) and then delicately used a flat, blade on one side, thick razor for anything left over.
I wish they were peel off!

More important than the solution is the scraper. Use a razor-blade type scraper (cheap, like $2 if you don't have one) to remove the glue. I've never had any problem using this type of scraper and Windex.

I use a single-edged razor blade to scrape most of the decal off. To get the glue off, I use wither WD-40, Acetone, or Windex. Whatever I can get my hands on fastest. good luck.
