I had a tree removed in my back yard and its a perfect spot for a fruit tree. I will use a lemon tree most often and they grow like "weeds" in this part of Texas. What do you prefer?

I have used the Mr. Clean sponge and in some areas on my walls it shows where I used it because it rubbed off some of the paint. Is there anything else that I can use to remove everyday wear and tear scuff marks?

And also, what is the best type of paint to use on walls with young children in the house? Why?

I heard that Kirby vacuums are really exceptional at picking up dirt and they appear so. But $2000 seems too much for a vacuum though. Are there better or equitable brands out there much cheaper? Or is it really worth that much money?

I remember being told as a kid that it was a fire safety issue and that we couldn't leave our doors open in case of fire.

yesteday I just started to pain my room. the original color was a ligth blue. I regret not using a primer first. so i put two coastes of white on the ceiling. then I started to paint the walls with a dark burgundy color. ive put on two coats of the burgundy. most of the wall looks even but theres parts where theres light and dark patches.. does it need another coat? and near the top (where the wall and the ceiling meet) ive been using a brush (since ceiling is white and wall is dark) it looks VERY blotcy.. is there an easier way to paint than using a small brush as to not get white on the dark of vice versa? (sorry its hard to explain) ive gotten a "shur line" that paints edges but am not pleases with it as it gets the burgundy onto tthe ceiling...

bow do i get the paint to come out evenly? how to paint where the wall and ceiling meet more easily?

So my boyfriend works nights, and our roommate works days. Day to day there aren't many dishes in the sink. So i figure oh I'll do them tomorrow. Then I just keep putting them off because there aren't many. Then there are tons and I hate to do them. Anyone have good suggestions to do them more often. I know it's somewhat self motivation, but I hate dishes with a passion..so i'm definitely lacking when it comes to them.

And how do you tell which one you've got? From what I have read, it seems like they are exactly the same thing. They both can pump clean water and waste water. My home warranty covers sump pumps, but not sewer pumps.

I have just inherited an older craftsman ridning mower, I have gotten it running, and jsut need to replace a throttlr control spring on the carb. I am having a problem figuring how to lower the blade height or if it is working. I have the knob to turn left/right to lower and raise the blade, but it doesnt make a difference. Is there a certain setting everything has to be in to make this adjustment?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Once there was a big lightning strike near our house and our ceiling fan got fryed even though it was turned off from the switch. I'm suspecting the surge jumpped the gap inside the switch (the gap bitween the contacts). So in order to prevent it I made a small device where I placed the live and neutral wires really close the ground wire (only 0.15cm's away). The device is inside a plastic case and is installed at the service entrance. So my device should provide protection from these jumping lightning surges right? I have surge protectors but as I heard a strong enough lightning surge can jump even through the blown fuses. My Device should prevent this right? After all the ground wire is more attractive than the neutral that is grounded at the tranceformer right? A lightning surge can jump right? or is the site I read telling false information? And yes I have very good dual ground wire

Do you know why they could have invaded so suddenly? The hot wheather? There are about 20 or so and I've only killed 2. It seems like everyday they multiply! Also does anybody have a quick fix to get rid of them?
