I've tried and tried, and found several ways to turn the heat on, but that's not much use when it's 90 degrees out! The wiring diagram and the internet were no use.

I have surfed everything I know to surf and can not find replacement beaters for my Kitchen Creations 5 Speed Burst of Power Hand Mixer. High Performance Appliances, Inc. is the manufacturer, model # HM205. Can anyone help? Can't remember where purchased, probably 11 years ago. Beaters lost in a move.

I am looking to purchase a lawn tractor. I have aprox 1.5 acres of grass, flat to hills , and some uneven areas. what lawn tractor would you recomend? john deere, cub cadet, troy built, ect...... what hp, deck size

I have a 2yr old GE gas dryer. Just recently it started this rhythmic (very loud and high pitch) squeak. I remove the lint after every use, works well and is very clean otherwise. Make it stop!!! Any suggestions?

I'm using the Amcor ALD12000E for rooms up to 400 Square feet, but right now I have it in a 130 square feet room which is pretty small... I read on some websites that it's not good for the AC.. is this true? Will my portable AC be damaged if I use it in smaller rooms?

I live in a brand new house in the city, and every morning the floor has about twenty of these little black shiny caterpillars on the tile and carpet. Spraying around the doors and windows only keeps them away for one day. Anyone else experiencing this? What should I do to stop it?

my friend told me she has just bought a new house in Jan 07 and the mortgage rate she got is 5.625 30 yr fixed for 410k loan, the price of the house is 530k. was that a good rate?? i thought it's quite high cos i thought i came across something like 4% unless i was mistaken for something else. just out of my curiousity, is that a good rate? or if you had also bought a house recently, i'll be curious to know what rate are you guys get for 30 yr fixed.

Oh boy, this stuff is ugly! It's about 1" thick and comes out from the wall in these dangerous spikes! I can't afford to replace the sheetrock walls, so if anyone knows a way to either sand off, scrape off, or cover the wall up (perhaps with some kind of compound?) I'd be very grateful for the info! Thanks!

I went out and tried to start my lawnmower. It started up fine (better than expected because it was given to me for free); however, when I went to push it, I noticed there wasn't any grass being cut. Now, of course I didn't keep it running and tilt it up to check, but I can only assume the blade wasn't spinning. It's a Honda Commercial push mower that is also self propelled. The model is unclear. Any ideas?

My Mom's neighbor has honey bee hives and they are coming to her birdbath water fountain to drink. It's at her front porch and she can't even sit out of the evening for them. When you come up on the porch the start swarming like crazy. I hate to kill them because of the good honey they make but it is getting dangerous. I put bleach in the water today & they went crazy. Any idea how to make them leave without killing them?
