My 3 year old took a blue pen to our brand new microfiber fabric sofa. Any ideas?

I've had this problem before, and I just used warm water with some Dawn liquid dish soap and scrubbed it out. Afterwards, I scrubbed gently with just warm water to remove any soap residue, but there didn't seem to be much, and the soap didn't discolor or stain the sofa. It worked well, but the stain was also somewhat fresh.

Try hairspray, Aquanet seems to work best for some reason, but any aerosol hairspray should do the trick. (Do not use a pump spray. for some reason it doesn't work at all)

Spray the hairspray onto the ink...it may start to run...dab gently with a damp cloth...do not rub...continue until all the ink is gone. to get rid of the hairspray smell I'd spray it with Febreeze.

Go to your nearest Walmart and purchase in the baby department Dreft stain spray, it is about $2.88 a bottle. Spray directly on the stain and let set for about 5 minutes, us a wet towel to rub away. I haven't met a stain this stuff doesn't work on.
