I had a problem with gnats in my plants. I bought a bottle of red wine vinegar and set out a couple of small bowls of that. The gnats would be attracted to that, and I could take care of the soil of my plants to clear the gnats out permanently.

Look to see if you have any plants nearby. I once worked in an office where there were so many gnats, they would fly up your nose. Disgusting. After investigating, co workers found that there were plants and potted trees that were over watered and were attracting gnats. They removed all the plants from the office. No more problem. (That may not be your problem, but it's a thought.)

clean with a citrus cleaner and clean all areas off to keep from attracting the pesty creatures. If you have a pet, keep out of area. Might try a bug spray for flies. Be sure to wash surfaces after spray settles.

Something is attracting them. Find it. Then use flying insect killer.
