I see them advertised and wonder how good they are. Do you have one, if so, what type is it, do you find it any good, was it expensive and where did you get it. TA.

My washing machine takes in hot water and cold water, whereas my dishwasher takes in cold water and heats it up to the required temperature. Since I have a temperamental hot water supply this sometimes means my clothes are washed in cold water.

Does such a thing exist as a washing machine that takes in cold water and heats it up itself to the required temperature?

Please don't just say 'get your hot water fixed'. I really want to know about washing machines... makes and models would be fab!

know the distance allowed to the nearest boundary. i am hoping i do not need to pay for planning permission and understand having 'permitted development' would be free. The council told me the maximum size allowed for the conservatory is 70m3. My conservatory will be around 39.6m3 but can be altered if needed. Thank you xx

Using a mix of neutrals, honey-colored woods, and pops of wave-crested blues, the Amalfi Coast is the inspiration for the color palette of my new hotel project, The Fairfax in South Beach. It's beachy and easy, but with a certain elegance.

My mother and I have this debate on peanut butter. Once you've opened your peanut butter where do you put it...in the refrigerator or in the pantry?

To protect us...I won't tell you where we keep ours...since this is more of a "where do you keep it".

Thank you so much.

I've got an aboveground pool 4'x 18'. We've used it for two years but it's always giving us problems so I'm wondering... It's an older pool given to us by a friend. We got new liner/steps/pump/filter everything but the wall! 2 years ago. It dosent have a hole for the skimmer, just 1 hole in the wall that we we're told to use for the outlet. We've had an over the wall skimmer attched to the inlet hose which runs over the wall. This is a pain because the skimmer never sits right and generaly dosent work. It needs to be replaced this year anyway because the filter basket broke. I was told by the pool store that I couldn't have a regular skimmer. Is this true? I understand we'd have to cut holes for it but would it work?We had to tie the inlet hose to the ladder, is there a better way to run this? Any ideas are appricated. The pool store dosent have the brightest workers and I seem to know more then they do about pools. :-( Thanks!

I love the idea of my kitty helping my garden grow, but I'm just not sure about the chemical makeup of cat ashes.

Please no rude cat remarks.

Mine are in a pot cuz I have an apartment. They have a well underneath so they never run out of water. I use miracle grow yet there is a white power forming on the soil. I sprayed it with a fungus spray, it come back. The flowers got afids on them so I used bug spray for plants as well. I moved them outside for the spring, and gave them extra plant food. They were in the house all winter sitting in a window. They also have Nats in the soil. Can anyone recomend products or remedys for these problems?
