We want to buy a electric heat pump for our 33 ft. round above ground pool. I have read about them online and it says it uses the ambient air to heat the pool. But if the air temp. is around 68 degrees how high can you make the poool water temperature?

I currently use "Ribbons and Bows, OH MY .com". THey are great, but just wondering if I can get ribbon even cheaper. They are about .90 per 5 yards for 3/8" solid grosgrain.
Thank you!

The fixings under the bath are so rusted on one of the tap fitings that the plumber said he couldn't undo it. His only suggestion was to have a new bath fitted!

My cat Johnny needs to eat plants. In the summer, I can pick clover, dandelion leaves etc. for him. Winter is a problem - no plants to pick. Fresh herbs bought from the store are expensive. The problem is that I am allergic to mold - shouldn't have plants growing in soil. Does anybody have any ideas for plants that I could grow in water or some other medium?

I have four courgette plants, in large pots and they were really great to start with, several lovely courgettes on each. Then the leaves started to go powdery white and the little fruits dropped off and the leaves have mostly gone crispy and fell off. I have kept them well watered and fed with tomato food.

We bought a 19 years old house about a year ago and we've been experiencing some heating problems. The house is a bi level, the ground floor is very cold in winter even when the heater is on, hot air doesn't flow evenly.the ground floor is always cold, the ground floor also has a fire place that we've never used. Hot water also doesn'tevenly flow, especially when two people are taking showers at the same time in different bath rooms, some times you get cold water coming out instead of hot. What can we do in this case ?

We get mice in the garage and house on occassion because we live near the woods. Rather than having to get the traps out every few months, we would like to use sonic devices. What brands are out there, and price ranges? How many do you have to use? And do they work? Cats are not an option at our house, please don't even suggest it.

Please only tell me your opinion if you actually have one and have used it. My tile gets mildew on it a lot and the tub gets soap scum on it. I'm not sure whether to buy the new scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner or not. I don't want to waste my money. What do you think?

We just installed a new high efficiency dishwasher in our home. Now when I wash my pizza pans, cookie sheets and metal cooking utensils they come out rusty. Anybody have any suggestions/ideas as to what is happening and can I fix this problem? We do have well water but never had this problem with the old dishwasher. Thank You!
