I have a kitchen which I have started to theme with coffee decor. I have the type of kitchen cabinets which have room on top to place things. Any CREATIVE ideas for coffee-related items I could put on top of those cabinets? I say creative because I already know there are pictures/prints I could buy and signs that say "Expresso", "Latte", that sort of thing. I am looking for unique ideas.

I really hate when people come over unannounced...I guess I am just a private guy, I don't know. Plus, it is usally someone trying to sell you magazines to scam you or some Jehovah's Wittnesses trying to get me to convert.

If it was someone who called first to ask if it was okay to come over (someone I knew of course), I would have no problem answering the door. Or if I was expecting someone like a plumber or a handyman coming over of course.

Just want to know if I am the only one who does this. You know, turn the TV down real low and be real quiet until "they" go away, LOL.

These are similar to what Ikea sells. They are adjustable wood slats for beds.

I bet it was just made up by some Plumbing Association so they could just charge you $100 for pulling up in your driveway, LOL!!!!!

Seriously though, we have this stupid clog (my wife's hair) in the bathtub, can I safely use Draino? My house is about 20 years old by the way.

I would like to start planting for next year but our beds are just full of roots. We have got rid of all the leaves, branches etc above ground and i am wondering if i should make an attempt to get rid of the roots underground (there are a lot of them) or just go ahead and mix in some topsoil and start planting.
This is our first garden and i would really appreciate your advice.

I rent a house from my mom, so this is my problem too. I am only source of income.I have a serious mold issue ,due to no ventilation , we had a bad inspector when purchasing house 4 yrs ago,the smell is getting worse everyday, concerned with health, money is big issue. I dont think it could be sold like this, so to re-build is the best soulution, knock this down and go the cheap route with modular home,it would look nice and no mold.. I would still need to pay rent for the house , and pay back a loan,if I could even get one. with less than 25,000 coming in a year. I am a massage practitioner on the side,so that income is never the same .
