My doctor said that i needed a colposcopy i am 17 years old and i am very scared!! I don't know what this is! My doctor is a family doctor can she do this procedure in her office or will i have to go somewhere else!! Will i feel anything!! I am so scared!!
Will this hurt me!!!

Most of the girls in my family have large boobs, like my mum n older sister are both D cups, and my 12 year old sister is already a C cup. But im 15 and still wear a training bra which i dont even really fit into. will i just have a growth spurt soon, or will I always be ths small?

I know it says may decrease effectiveness in birth control but does anyone know like really what the odds are of it making it so you get pregnant? i'm on it for a sinus infection but i have a "romantic getaway" planned for this weekend and condoms suck. So anyone know some statistics or anything? Help!

I was having pain in my back on the left side. It moved then to the front. The next day I went to the doctor they gave me a ct scan. They found nothing. My doctor refured me to a surgeon. He then decided to put a scope down my throat...found nothing. Then I gote a colonoscopy found nothing. A few days after that my belly started to swell looked like I was 6 months pregnant. My doctor said we will do larposcopy see if we see anything. He found out that I have endometriosis. When I can home my belly was flat again!! Now 1 week later it is expanding again. I am also having shooting pain in my pelvic area. I just need some advice any wll help thankx

So this may be a little TMI but I need some answers. Normally my period is long and very heavy. But the period before last it was the normal length but kinda light and this time it is veryyyy light and it started friday and was done monday. What could this be from? Helpp

I've had sex with only 1 guy, and probably 10 times or less. I've noticed that my vaginal "lip" for lack of better words is beginning to darken. The left side of the lower part around the opening is really dark, and the left side of the left "lip" is getting dark too.. not black, but close, and only on the left side. Even near my clitoris is darkening! Why??? Is this normal or is something wrong? Is there anything I can do to make the color come back? I know my boyfriend has no stds.. he's been checked. My cycles are all over the place since having my daughter 3 years ago. I just recently stumbled upon vitex, and was looking for any personal experiences before I purchase it. My husband and I are trying for a child of our own, but with my cycles it's impossible to know when I'm ovulating, even with home kits. Honestly though i'm just curious about vitex helping regulate your cycles, because if that happens I know I'll get pregnant lol.

I had a baby 3 months ago and started the nuva ring this past month. I was on it before with no problems. This time, I had to take out the ring 3 days early because it was so uncomfortable for me and it coming down. So I started my period today and when I went to put in a regular sized tampon, it hurt so bad after I got up and I could feel it in me. I NEVER had this problem before, and now I am worried that it will hurt when I have intercourse again. My husband is in the military so we have not had sex since the baby was born. Anybody else have this problem?

It's not a biotin pill, but it is a pill that contains biotin, it is to make my hair grow faster. I mean it works, my mother takes it and her hair is growing super fast.

My ex girlfriend of 3 months found out about 3 weeks ago that she has Herpes Type2. I went down just the other day & got tested & I have type1.
If I tell her, I am afraid that she will blame herself for giving it to me. That is the way she is. Then too, will she wonder if she got it from me. We no longer go together, but we are friends.
Question number two---Should I contact my last ex that I was with for 3 years & tell her to go get tested. I have only been with these two women in 12 years. The previous one that I was with for 3 years had several people that were in to drugs & drinking who she had been in a relationship with for a few years. I am wondering if I contacted it from her. This recent relationship was with a very decent girl who just got out of a 12 years relationship & was only with 3 people in her life time. Those two questions I need answers to. I was told by my doctors nurse that a person with Type one can give it to a person that will have type two.

I have been on the pill since I had my now 3 yr old. Just last month I had my yearly check-up & a renewal of my bc pills. Well I switched pharmacies and the new pharmacy gave me different pills. I was on Aviane & they gave me something that starts with an "L" (can't remember what) but anyways, I am now 4 days late and scared to death. Can switching brands cause the bc pill to fail? I have 3 kids & a 4th is not welcome.

My 23 year old daughter is planning on a breast augmentation surgery and if I don't do some checking, she will go ahead and have the first surgeon she finds do the surgery for her. I heard that during Menstration, a woman's vagina opens to let the blood out, but also is open to let bacteria in, which can infect the inner wars of the Vagina and outside. Is this true?

Also, I heard elsewhere that sex during menstration can give you vaginal infections...

I did a search on google to see if anyone has had the same side effects of Depo Provera (also known as the "shot") as I have. I have been having very long, light periods. The blood coming out of me seems to be old as it is almost a purple/dark brown color, and it's not really liquid. It's almost dried up. I know that depo is supposed to take your periods away, but this is my second shot and I have had a period with both. After I got my first shot, I had my period for two weeks so I went to my doctor and told her I was having my period, I was two weeks early for my next shot and she decided to give me another. Is this depo not taking since the second shot immediately took the bleeding away? Or am I just having side effects like I have read about others. I am also on my second Gardasil shot. I know there are lawsuits about it, people are becoming paralyzed and other things like that. Could the depo and Gardasil be intertwining?
