It depends. If they can do the C-section right through the hernia then they'll repair it when they close her. If not, they probably won't want to fix it until her abdomen has returned to it's normal shape.

Most abdominal herias are removed through the umbilicas, so they may do it shortly after delivering the baby, quite possibly in the same visit. Like doing a tubal ligation after c-section.
