I'm pretty sure I am experiencing a yeast infection right now. I just discovered it today. My questions are, can yeast infections clear up on their own without the help of medication, and is there any type of "home remedies" known for clearing up yeast infections?

plain yogurt hun
go get it from the store - also a yeast infection will not clear up on its own - you can use yogurt, acidopholis, and get monostat - over the counter supositories - do not let it go - they can turn bery bad and itchy fast - VERY FAST!

if u are active, u can give it to your partner and it will keep coming back

There may be some home remedies for a yeast infection but, it is called an 'infection' for a reason. There are many over the counter medications that will clear you right up. Ask a pharmacist. They know what will be best for you and your problem. There could be other medical reasons that are manifesting itself. You should see your doc. He'll know immediately if it is or isn't, a yeast infection. Best to be safe now than have possible troubles, later.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

I've had yeast infections problem over 2 years. I tried everything, of course I went to the DR. about a hundred times, probably not that many, but it sure seems like it. It never did any good for long and caused all kinds of other issues having to do with taking too many antibiotics. It wasn't until I stumbled upon the information on this site
( http://yeastinfectionnomore-guide.blogspot.com ), that my life changed completely. I'm feeling so much better now, my quality of life returned and every one of the symptoms had gone.

If you are unsure if it is a yeast infection, see a doctor.
You can cure yeast infections with yogurt and pure cranberry juice. Call a homeopathic doctor for advise on the amount required.

It can clear up when you get your period because of the pH change at that time. Eat yogurt with active cultures and you can even use it like you would a cream for that area. Make sure what you have is yeast. You could have a bacterial infection and make it worse.
