I was having pain in my back on the left side. It moved then to the front. The next day I went to the doctor they gave me a ct scan. They found nothing. My doctor refured me to a surgeon. He then decided to put a scope down my throat...found nothing. Then I gote a colonoscopy found nothing. A few days after that my belly started to swell looked like I was 6 months pregnant. My doctor said we will do larposcopy see if we see anything. He found out that I have endometriosis. When I can home my belly was flat again!! Now 1 week later it is expanding again. I am also having shooting pain in my pelvic area. I just need some advice any wll help thankx

Did the surgeon actually *treat* the Endo, or was this a diagnostic lap? And if s/he did really treat it by removing it, was it removed from *all* areas? Disease left behind will only persist with recurrent symptoms; one of which for you seems to be the bloating that many with Endo experience. If you are having continued pain and symptoms, think about finding new care from a true Endo specialist when you are feeling better. Also remember you are only a week out of surgery, if I understand your post correctly, and so things may take time to settle down. Good luck and feel better.

Bloating is very common after surgery even after they try to get all the gas out that was used during the laparoscopy. That can take a few days to clear out.

But because of what you are noticing I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to see what they say.
