Ok, my mom and i talk about sex quite a lot, and i understand the 'facts', but everytime i ask her why sex is such a big deal, i think that she gets mad...what is the big deal about it? loads of people have sex every day. Just b/c i have sex, does not mean that i am going to get pregnant or an std, b/c she has told me LOADS of times how to be safe, and i know where the condoms are..i mean, i am not just gonna run out there and sleep with the first person i see, i just REALLY want to know WHY it is such a big deal, and WHY moms always fly threw the roof if they think that u are having sex...WHAT is the big deal???

I'm sorry but I'm just really curious...I heard that when a girl loses her virginity it really hurts?? My friend told me that she felt like crying...Now I'm really nervous! I don't expect to loose it anytime soon, but still! I know that the hymen breaks...and I feel so stupid for asking this...but what happens after that? Do you bleed? And then does it come out or something??? I know that that is kind of gross but I just wanted to know...I'm afraid that it will be super-akward and painful! So...is it?

I have a large uterine fibroid that is bigger than my uterus. My treatment consists of 3 lupron shots to decrease the size before surgery. I just got my 3rd shot today and they did an ultrasound, which showed that the fibroid had only shrunk 1 cm. It's still too big to have laproscopic surgery done at this size. I was wondering if anyone has had or knows if the third lupron shot should produce the most shrinkage?? Thanks!!

Does anyone know why a week before my PMS, I feel nauseated, lightheaded, dizzy, my head literally feels like the compass; when I turn my head one side, the inside compass moves to adjust itself to the North poll. I’m sure I’m not pregnant and I often take Promethazine to get ride of the symptoms for the day, but then I get sleepy, which I can’t during the day due to work. The doctor ran tests on me and could not find anything wrong with me. I feel so ill every month during this time and was wondering if anyone of you experienced this and have any natural remedy for this….thanks!

I am a MARRIED woman and we have our first child. We didn't plan him, but I foolishly stopped taking my birth control-Lol, and we couldn't be happier. I was on the patch and I ALWAYS felt sick... Then I switched to the pill and I always forgot to take it. I want/NEED to be on B.C. but I am afraid of the long term effects and missing my pills. Any suggestions? Thanks! And NO condoms don't work for us. We end up taking them off or they break. Sorry!

I went to the gynecologist for an exam to go on the pill. My pap smear came back abnormal. When I looked up common causes of an abnormal result, one was HPV virus. I have always been very careful about safe sex but also saw that HPV can be transmitted even when using a condom. I have not been on the pill long enough to use it as a reliable method of birth control so my boyfriend and I have continued to have protected sex. (We are in a long-term, committed relationship. I'm 28, he's 27.) I would be devastated if I passed along an STD to him, unaware that I had it myself. Is there an easy, specific test for HPV? Thank you very much.

so, im having my first heavy period [4th time having it about]

im just now understand the annoyance.

so my day went-

i wake up to find that somehow the night time pad didnt cut it, and it past the pad andgot on my bed sheets.

its so gross to have blood basically in between your butt, almost, AND DRY BY THEN.

and it continues to go there during the day, making it itchy and disgusting.

i feel so gross, i just want to skip school, and stay in water.

so i had to change my pad a lot, and when i did get the chance at school my pad was full, and i already felt unconfortable.

then when i get home after awhille i take a shower, it use to be that i could just get out and my period wouldnt start up again for 10 minutes, i cant even get out of the shower without blood dripping on the floor or running down my leg.


bleh, please help me with these problems, its been a long day.

i am almost 12, I'm turning 12 in November, and i have a question bout wen I'm gonna get my period

-i have had brests for 1 year and couple months
-pubiic hair for 1 year and couple months
-i have had armpit hair for about 7-8 months
-i have had discharge for about 6-7 months
- i weigh 93, for the past couple of days i have been stuffing my self ( chocolate the most now)
-i am 5"0 or 5"1
-i also get cramps, like today after lunch like 5 min. after lunch like i was carrying my binder against my stomach, like facing out, not up against my body, and whenever i barely even pressed it hurt.......... but i get cramps below the stomach tpp


How soon? how many months? weeks? stuff like that?

oh yeah if you have any stories about when you got it please share to tell, like embarrassing or funny, or awkward like ANYTHING! so i can prepare 4 it. thanks!

i have this rash in my vaginal area, and i dont know what its from. i had my period a few days ago and i wore pantyliners, which is when it started irritating. but now its inflamed and my periods been over for days. its reddish and bumpy, and itches a lot. it doesn't really burn anymore. symptoms seem like herpes but thats really not likely considering i havn't had sexual activity in a very very long time. i had sex once, and that was a year ago.. so i dont know im assuming its a yeast infection? i dont have a gynacologist so im not sure what i can really do right now..

I have a friend, and she is taking birth control. She is ill almost all the time. She gets very ill at one of her guy friends. And this guy friend has been a really good friend to her. Its just like ever since she started taking the birth control, she just gets angry real easily. Is this normal?

please no immature answers! can u tell if ur boobs have stopped growing? cuz if i poke my boobs they dont hurt, they used to really badly! also when i hugged a guy and the hugged me really hard, it hurt, but now it doesn't!
i have a 34 C and am 13! i really want them to stop growing because i think that this will be a nice size for me when im older! (just not now cuz im bigger than everyone!)
