I have a friend, and she is taking birth control. She is ill almost all the time. She gets very ill at one of her guy friends. And this guy friend has been a really good friend to her. Its just like ever since she started taking the birth control, she just gets angry real easily. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal, depending on if the birth control has a concentration of hormones. I'm speaking from experience, I had to go off of common birth control and use and IUD with no hormones. It works just fine and I have no more outbursts of anger. Although the IUD was expensive, it was so worth it!

Yes, birth control pills can have an effect on the emotions. I would recommend that she see her doctor about this to see if a change in medication is necessary. Also, have her ask the doctor about trying B6 in either a bottle by itself or as part of B Complex.

I have found that taking B Complex is very helpful to me when I get emotional.
