Hi I'm 19 and I went to the doc recently a Gasterologist and he is giving me a blood test next week because he thinks I may have thyroid problems. Ive been doing alot of research and I find I have most of the symtoms for Hypothyroid...looking at other peoples answers they said they went to an endocrinologist. What exactly is that compared to a Gasterologist can they find the same thing or should i just go see the endocrinologist? thanks for the help all the info you can give me would be greatly appreciated

I react badly to oestrogen and am terrified that I may miss one of my POP's one day and end up pregnant! There's only a 3 hr window in which to take mine.

my bf and I are 19, live together, and both have good jobs but we don't feel ready for children yet.

I can't use any type of condom due to bad reactions, well, i could but it's not pleasant for days afterwards!

So I haven't been to the doctor in a while....last time I was probably like 16, and I'm 19 now...I haven't been because my health insurance dropped when I turned 18....and of course its very expensive, but my friends are telling me I should go to the health clinic because you pay like 60 bucks up front and get a regular checkup. I want to do this....but exactly how much will it be?

I am 36yrs old with 2 children 11 and 8. My daughter was 11lbs and my son 10lbs at birth. I want to hear from anyone who has had this. It is a big decision, I'm mostly just afraid of complications. My stomach looks like I just gave birth! I am not overweight and have tried exercise. I have been contemplating this for over 6 years. I recently had an ultrasound and the technician thought I just gave birth!!! That was it for me.

I am currently taking birth control pills with only progestin. All 28 pills are active pills, not like regular pills where you take the 21 pills and then you can start a new pill pack to prevent your period from coming.

Can someone help? I'm on my period now and in October, the day I am suppose to start my period, I'm getting married. I don't want to be on my period for my wedding and honeymoon.

I am 26 and have never been to the gynecologist. I have also never been sexually active, and never had any problems. I have recently been having problems with my menstrual cycle though, and want to set up an appt, and I will.

The thing is, I am scared, not just of the doctor visit but that the dr. will scold me for never getting checked anyway. I know that this sounds childish but I have always been that way about doctors and medicine and such. Luckily, I have never been a sickly person.

I definitely plan to go to the doctor and start getting checkups. I just wanted to know if it is that uncommon that women wait long after they are 18 to go to the gyno. It is bad, what should I expect?

I really have bad cramps and bloating during my period, and I know I look really sick, like having a pale face, being quiet, and sometimes when i'm really in pain it shows on my face. How do I tell my co-workers/boss when they ask? obviously i don't want the entire office to know that I'm having my period, and I don't want to take sick leaves, because it adds up to more than 12 days a year. I do take some PMS control pills, but it doesn't do much for me... what's the best way to let people know that I'm okay, it's just PMS?

I am very prone to urinary tract infections so I figured I had a normal UTI until I saw blood in my urine. I had blood in my urine for one day then I drank water and the next day there was no blood. Could this mean I have a UTI?

I'm 23 years old and still a virgin and planning to get married and that's when the "love making" comes in the picture .. but i dont wana get pregnant yet so i'm thinking about taking birth control pills BUT sometimes on TV i watch this story of a couple who want to have babies but the doctors tell the woman that she cant have babies anymore cuz she used birth control pills .. !!
i also heard that u should AT LEAST GET PREGNANT ONCE then u can take birth control pills but taking birth control pills without at least having ur first child is wrong and will stop u from having children .. IM SCARED !!

help !
