I had a abdominal hysterectomy on May 30 and today my incision started bleeding in the middle. is this cause for concern?

yes u need to be concern call ur doctor and them check you out have u done anything different around that area

Incisions are very tricky things... I would call my surgeon's office and speak with him or his nurse regarding this... I had my gaulbladder removed a few years ago and ended up with a HUGE infection because my doctor didn't know about the incision being infected since my nurse never told him...

In the end... it's always better safe than sorry!

Since it was in May, i think i would give your doctor a call. That seems like too long of a time for it to start bleeding. Hope all is well!

I would call your doctor immediately. There is NO reason that your incision site should not have completely healed by now.

how bad was it bleeding? I would contact your doctor to see if this is normal.

Yes, i would think you should have it looked at because by now it should have healed completely.
