First off, I've never had my period, and im 13. Why am I getting discharge every once and a while? Also any signs before getting your peroid? I'm going on a discovery week next week and I want to be prepared just in case you know? I've heard people sometimes get cramps, and i have for no reason this summer for a little bit but now its gone...so thanks for helping!

You will get vaginal discharge for the rest of your life (I'm not sure if you get it after your menopause) it's just the vagina's way of keeping itself clean and getting rid of dead cells and stuff. Periods usually start about a year after discharge starts and two years after your breasts start growing. Yeah people sometimes cramp when they are about to start, but most have pinkish/reddish/brownish discharge a couple of days before they start. Hope this helps xo

I would take the the necessities with you on your trip just incase. Discharge before your period is normal. You might start this month in a week or so or you might start next month. Just get a little calendar and track when you have discharge and then when your period starts track when it starts and ends. If you keep on top of your cycle you will be able to predict when it's coming and it won't be a suprise! If you need more advice feel free to contact me!

As the first person said, discharge is normal. It keeps you vagina healthy. Girls get discharge for AT LEAST a year before they get their first period. Before you get your period, you might have cramps or your breasts might be sore.

It wouldn't hurt to carry a pad with you when you go on discovery. You might not need it, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Thats completely normal. I had discharge for like 3 months before i finally started. Cramps are one sign, bloating, acne breakouts, some people get truely ill. I used to actually vomit for 2 days before I started. its all in how your body reacts. id take stuff and be prepared, you dont want to be caught without. But its nothing to worry about. Just think you'll feel more grown up :) lol

Discharge is completely normal. That is how your vagina cleans itself out. It doesn't tell you for sure when you will start your period, though. You should take some pads with you on your trip, just to be safe.

Discharge is perfectly NORMAL, don't worry,
mostly every girl has it, you could have discharge for a year and still not get your period, but BE PREPARED, because
expect the unexpected!!! :)
