I just got my first period 3 weeks ago since having my baby in nov 05. My son had dropped all his nursing sessions except for twice a day and then my period show up. I'm still nursing and wondering if I should be expecting my next period anytime soon? Do they go back to being regular? or would they be spaced out and erratic because I'm still brestfeeding a 2 times a day?

I started taking orthotryciclen lo since october of last year and then my pharmacist informed me that it had gone up in price and my doctor recommended alesse, I have now been taking the generic form, aviane, and I have found it to be great, since I experience no side effects. My period ended last wednesday 8/29 while I was in the middle of my first week pills (new pack), I took my pill 40 min late on 8/31 and had unprotected sex, so now i am a bit worried since I know that if not taken properly one may still get pregnant. I also understand that there is a minimal chance for this to actually happen. Has anyone gotten pregnant while on aviane? How soon can one take a pregnancy test? thanks

I have a period approx every 25 days but it lasts up to 2 weeks. I am quite heavy, but always have been really. I had a colposcopy approx 3yrs ago but this 2 week period has been goin on for about 2 years any idears what it goin on?

Okay, this is quirt a few questions but they are all rolled into one.

What exactly are the signs and symptons of a yeast infeciton?
What does the discharge look like?
Is there a home remedy I can use?
I don't want to tell my mom, so is there any suggestions?

The other day someone mentioned to me in front of my girls that they looked thinner than they should be, I have always been naturaly thin and so have they, the doctor has checked them and they are healthy, anyways after the person left my 9 year old came to me and whispered "mom I don't want to be fat" is that a sign she could be deveveloping body weight issues?

I am an emotional mess before my period, and it's getting worse. I also want to start birth control, so I figure YAZ would be a good choice since it claims to also help with symptoms of pms. To the women that current take it, has it really helped your moodiness and such?

hello. i'm 13 and i found lotsa brown stuff on my underwear on sept 4 and 5. then i posted a question to ask if it's my first period alot of people said yes but then someone said i shld go and see the doctor if i did not see any blood within three days. i hv not seen any blood at all. after 2 days of brown thing it was all yellowish disharge. was that my first period,a sign that my period is coming

Pretty much all my friends are thin and have small boobs. I'm not thin, or fat, I'm just average, but I have pretty big boobs for my height and frame.

I know it's probably just me being critical of myself, but I feel like because my friends have a completly different body type than me, I look almost slutty in comparison? I feel like anytime I wear a tighter or low cut shirt, people look at me and then look at my friends and then automatically assume I'm the easy chick. I even feel like my friends think that sometimes..

I've gotten so frustrated about it that now I mostly wear t-shirts and hoodies, and I hate going shopping because every time I try anything on I just get worried about it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I just want to build my confidence...and get to a place where I can stop feeling ashamed of myself.

my niece is 15 going 16. She probably did not grow well during her puberty stage. She had her period when she was 11+. According to the doctor she will hardly grow anymore. How can i help her to grow taller and bust her boobs so that she can be more confident? She is only 1.48m tall and the smallest bra can't even fit her well...she doesn't like to wear bras with cup which is the only she can wear. Pls help!!

I very rarely get headaches. For the past month, I've been getting them atleast 3 to 4 times a week.
My period doesn't come for another 2 weeks and I'm bleeding. I feel terrible. I haven't been able to do anything today because I've been so weak.

For a day I thought I had a yeast infection. Then the next day after it began to clear up I peeing some blood for three times I went to the bathroom and then it quit. No stinging but a few sharp pains afterwards. I find myself having to go to the bathroom to pee alot as well. Can someone help me figure out whats wrong? I'm quite worried about it.

I'm very knowledgeable about birth control, about how each pill has different hormone levels and so does each person - so the side effects are different from person to person.
I'm not looking for a lecture or to be told that I should ask my doctor which pill is best for me.
I just want to know if there's any coincidence between people losing weight while on the pill - and which pill they were taking.
