I am an emotional mess before my period, and it's getting worse. I also want to start birth control, so I figure YAZ would be a good choice since it claims to also help with symptoms of pms. To the women that current take it, has it really helped your moodiness and such?

I took the sister to Yaz called Yasmin and I had a very hard time adjusting to it the first week of use. One of the problems I had with it was that for 3 days I felt like crying when I had no particular reason to do so. Six months after that problem I ended up with a different one: breakthrough bleeding because of the way I was taking it.

I've talked to other women who have tried it, some of them had very good success with it and others had problems with moodiness while on it.

I found that taking B6 either in a bottle by itself or as part of B Complex was very helpful for my mood and some of my stress levels.
