I just got my first period 3 weeks ago since having my baby in nov 05. My son had dropped all his nursing sessions except for twice a day and then my period show up. I'm still nursing and wondering if I should be expecting my next period anytime soon? Do they go back to being regular? or would they be spaced out and erratic because I'm still brestfeeding a 2 times a day?

the less you nurse the more regular your period, just be prepared for it.

It will most likely be irregular until you stop breastfeeding all together. It is hard to tell, though. I never missed a period while breastfeeding with my first child, but I have only had light spotting twice since having my second (and she is 15 months). She still nurses.

on a similar time as breastfeeding it takes somewhat a on a similar time as for sessions to return to common. it form of sounds like 3 months could be lots, yet lots of girls do no longer return to their previous cycles for 6-8 months! in case you have have been given the IUD, no concerns approximately unpredicted being pregnant, purely enable your physique artwork its till now into its previous groove.
