I am taking vicodin for a really bad tooth ache just untill I get to a dentist tomorrow. I know it wears off in 6 hours, does that mean I can breastfeed my son 6 hours after I take one? I am going to be taking one every six hours ( or after I breastfeed- if I can) and he has never had formula before - what do I do to be safe?

Ok one of my good female friends has a question. She is 64 and has still not gone through menopause; instead, her period has gotten heavier and more regular over time. Her doctor says their is nothing wrong with her; what does it all mean?

I am 26yrs old and was on the pill from age 17 to 23 then I got off the pill for a few years and got pregnant and miscarried at 8wks in September of 06'. I ended up getting back on the pill in Jan 07' but only for one month.(I know it's weird but I had my reasons) anyhow it is now the end of May and I have been off the pill for about 4 months. My cycles have been pretty consistant of about 29 days, however this month I started 8 days early and had a regular period on May 12-15 and now I am cramping and feeling like I'm going start again (no bleeding though) and it's only the 28th of May...What could be going on??

There is a new Birth control pill out that is supposed to make women not have a period at all. I forget what it is called, but I would love to take it. I have horrible periods and when I was younger before I ever had sex I had to take birth control pills. If you guys have any ifo on this new pill I would love to hear it. I am really interested in taking it. NO CRAMPS!! How great would that be? Ugh! Thanks~

I know that is a dumb question( you would think), but I have been to doctors about it and they say it's normal to pass clots,however, they seem to look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them how big they are. My periods keep getting worse every month. I have been on different birth controls, pills, IUD, all of it . nothing helps! I now have terriable acne on my face all the time(didn't always have it). I'm 29 and have two kids, I don't know what to do anymore..for the first 3 days of my period I can't leave the house because I bleed so bad. I have awfull PMS the week before I start...does anyone know what causes this and what I should do?

well. i find unshaved female puberty hair repulsive [on myself i mean] so i try my best to shave it but it results in little itchy sore red bumps. almost like a razor burn but it happens every time! does anyone know how to stop it? thanks so much.

I took two shots of depo provera the birth control pill last year and gained about 50lbs. My last shot was on sept. '06 so it should be out of my system by now. Does anyone who has experience with this have any suggestions for how and what I should eat and what kind of exercize I should do? Any help is much appreciated.

in my culture, a woman must bleed on her wedding night (her hymen must be intact). 4 months ago i had the doubt of me breaking my hymen and i saw 2 doctors, they said my hymen is intact.
but i masturbate a lot by external stimulation only, and i reach orgasm without inserting anything in my vagina (i never did). the problem is that i was worried about my hymen so i tried to see my hymen for myself. i saw a piece of skin and saw inside my vagina.
i really don't know what that is.
can seeing my hymen for myself break it?

OK, so this is a bit off-color, sorry...
After the baby came along, I got stretch marks on the very top inside of my thighs.
There is now a big old zit, that I thought I took care of, just hanging out and making me very uncomfortable.
Now, this happened once in another area of stretch mark, and lasted three months!
Can anyone help me get rid of this?
PS, yes, I'm wearing lighter clothes for summer, so that's not it...

i had my son jan 10th, stopped breastfeeding at the end of january.. i had depo shot feb 28th.. thought i was pregnant.. had a test in march it was negitive... i been having cramps and feels like morning sickness.. (didnt go back for the shot) and my breasts still have milk (white/yellow) comming out for some reason... i know when i was 3 months pregnant i started having colestrum come out.. could i be pregnant? i mean why havent i completley dryed up and its been months?

Ok my name is Toni, I am 14 years old.

I am kind of scared because I haven't had my period since the 17th of April and now its the 28th of May. I usually have my periods at the end of the month but lately it has been coming earlier and earlier every week. But i am thinking that maybe it is balancing its self out. I haven't had any sexual relations at all the past month.

Can someone please just give me some relief as to what is going on because I have never had a late period it has always been the same.

I wanted to know if you can start birth control at any time, not just the first day of or using Sunday start? I know you're SUPPOSED to do it either of those 2 ways, but if I start using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo now, how will it probably effect me? Please read on and see why I'm asking before you answer..... I am asking because I had very irregular (2 weeks apart) periods for 8 months and ovulate very irregularly, if at all, so had a laparoscopy and D&C performed on April 18th. I bled for a day then spotted brown for a month, but haven't had a "period" since March. There's no chance of pregnancy, but want to start taking my pills to prevent it in the near future. I used birth control for 3 years before this, but never had this exact situation so I am not sure what I should do. (Second method of protection will be used, just want to know about the pills...)
