Hi girls ,I'm trying to decide if I should go on the pill , and I was wondering how many days does it take for the pills to be in your system and start working.thanks for your help :-)

im 12 and i have had a brown rash under my left breast my left breast also sags down lower then my right and i noticed this rash after i mistook an birth control patch for a band-aid i placed this birth control over a scab on my knee(i know patch is to be placed on you butt)i need help i want to buy something you can get at shoppers drug store and i dont wanna go to the doctor any body have suggestions and yes

i have tried baby powder,cocoa butter,toning cream,baby lotion,carrot butter cream and shea butter even lotions containing herbs and i desperatly need help to get rid of this with out going to the doctor before july PLZ IM ON MY KNEES I NEED HELP.

I am leaking through my tampon every 1.5-3 hours and passing clots that are 1/2 the size of a golf ball, which to me is pretty big. There is no real pain, just that bloaty feeling. I cannot call the doc till Tuesday. What should I do? I am really scared and kinda embarassed.

I've tried to insert one numerous times and never know if it's in right.
I know it's in correctly if you cant feel it, but how much of the string should be left showing outside?

this is my 3rd day into my period out of the 7i usually have. and im really bleeding at all today. yesterday i was bleeding alot, but today, theres like only a little bit of blood. is something wrong? or is that just how it goes?

I was on the pill last month but stopped taking it because I was out of town and couldnt get to the drug store to get a new pack, next weekend i should be starting my period but i have an important event going on and i cannot be on my period! Is there any way i can skip it? If i start taking a new pack of my birth control will it stop it?

I have had trouble taking every kind of birth control pill I've tried. Ortho Tri-Cyclin and Ortho Lo both made me sooo sick. Yasmin made me retain water and swell. I was on another kind, can't remember the name, but it made me sick. Now I'm taking Alesse and I'm so emotional and crazy, wake up sick, and bleed all the time. Any suggestions of any type you have tried and liked? I have to take it for very painful periods and ovarian cysts.

Hi guys,
hope you can help me out here. I started taking micronor, its a progesterone only (mini) pill, about a week and a half ago. I've had awful side affects, the feeling fluey subsided after a few days, but I've been seriously depressed with it - or at least i think i have (symptoms = not feeling anything, yet strangely this feels ****, feeling like nothing matters, not being able to concentrate on my work, loosing interest in sex, being able to lie doing and thinking nothing for hours etc) and ive also been getting really high temperatures about 2hours after i take it.
Anyway, i'm going to try and get a drs appointment for tomorrow, or if not tuesday. So should i take it till then i.e. only 1 or 2 days in order to continue my contraceptive cover if i get switched straight onto another pill. I think i can manage one more day of this hell, and i dont want to have it as bad as it was at first by stopping and starting again.
What do you think - anyone had a similar experience?

ok i have been suffering from a common cold ( no antibiotics)
and then after like a week i have hade continuous bleeding from my vagina ( not in extreme amounts) just how much you would suspect from a normal period but i had my period like 3 weeks ago and i can tell its not my period.im a 15 year old virgin who has never even kissed another person. at the start i got itchness and discomfort passing urine but now after like 4 days thats gone and i have the bleeding. where is this comeing from is it dangerous?im scared and embarassed.what should i do? is it cancer?or something life threatening?

I have started taking daily vitimins and iron a while ago
and i am still completely tired
i go to bed at 9 or 9:30, and whatever time i wake up the next day i'm still really tired.
My GCSE's are starting to suffer because of this.
Around my vagina area is starting to hurt (maybe thats my period coming)
Underneath my chest area it throbbs/aches
and yeah i don't know whats wrong with me
anyone have any ideas?
my mum thinks it could be celiac,diabetes or thyroid

I'm currently taking ortho tri-cyclen lo and have been bleeding heavily for about a week and a half now, with cramps worse than usual and crazy-beetch PMS.

It started while I was on the white pills and I'm now on the dark blue. At first I thought it was just spotting, but now I'm getting worried.

This started after I forgot one pill (a white one) and then had sex with my boyfriend--things got a little rough and I started bleeding (blood-blood, not menstruating). I bled blood-blood (haha) for about a day, and then I realized that I wasn't bleeding blood anymore, but actually menstruating... so what's going on? Should I contact my doctor?

I've never had an abortion and am not 'for' them but I don't discriminate against women who have them. I especially won't be bashing you for answering honestly either, even more so because I'm asking you.

I know someone who has admitted that they only had one to keep her body from changing during her prime years and now regrets it. I just wanted to know if you've ever regreted your decision and why did you make that choice at the time?

ok my age is 14 and i had my periodes when i was 13
When i used to go to the bathroom..i would notice that my discharge is white and clear and it was thick and jelly like
Then it started having Blood in it...small amont of blood in clear white discharge which was also jelly like and soft and thick.
Then the discharge started having yellow-ish colour in it.
And yesterday....it was so strange. My discharge was thick jelly like but it was totally Brown !!

Why was it brown and has my discharge been normal ??
Do i have some infection...i am not comfortable to talk to my mom abt this...wht shud i tell my mom and tell me whether the discharge was normal throughout.
Some giudance would be very helpful !!
