There's an old expression that goes: If men gave birth to babies there would be no babies. Or at least, there would be no 2nd child.
The pain of child birth is a woman's burden to bear. Its how we are set up. My understanding is that women don't remember the pain afterwards because the love of their child is so great.
Is it fair? Maybe not......... but who said the world was fair?

Life is not fair. From the beginning of time women have been the ones to bare the pain not only of child birth but raising these children. Women are the world's backbones. We put us with all the crap these men and the entire world give us with a big smile on our faces.
It may not be fair for women to feel the pain, however do you really think a man could bare those pain. Frankly if that was the case the human race would be wiped out already.

It's often said that life's not fair. But in most cases, I think it is. Childbirth is no fun (been there twice) but there are things that suck about being a man as well. Men are seen as having total financial responsibility for a baby. If a woman has a baby and no job, people wonder where the father is. If the father has no job, he's seen as a deadbeat. Men have to work ten times harder to get a fair hearing in custody battles. Women ALWAYS know without a doubt that the baby is theirs.
Everyone has setbacks in their life based on gender, race, religion, etc. But in the long run, I think they balance out.

Nature has built in a mechanism so that many women are unable to recall the pain of child birth (I know at least one) otherwise another woman told me rasberry leaf tea during the pregnancy helped her have a swift and painless experience when giving birth.
Sorry if you had a bad experience but who said life is fair?

Why does everybody believe the bible? However, all I got to say is, life is not fair. If anything, try to find a surrogate mother-someone else that is willing to own up to the pain and/or ability of having children. Believe it or not there are thousands of women in this world that dream of giving birth to their own flesh and blood... but can't... hmm.. once again life isn't fair... just depends on how you look at your glass.. is it "half empty" or "half full"

The woman may not enjoy the sex and still may be forced to give birth and endure the pain! And the compensation is holding the baby in your lap and enjoying the pleasure!

It's not 'fair', no, but there isn't anything anyone can do about it!
We should feel grateful that sex itself is pleasurable. For many animals, (cats, for example), intercourse is very painful for the female because the male has barbs on his penis, which tear at the female, the pain of which causes her to ovulate! Then she gets the pain of birth too!
So it could be worse! And there is always pain relief these days.

A woman doesn't have to bear the pain of childbirth if she doesn't want to. She has the choice to be pregnant or not.
And while it is not fair, there really isn't anything that can be done about it.

The man must deal with the pain of dealing with the woman for at least the next 18 years so yes, it is fair.

Men have their "fair share" of pain and responsiblity in this world, I assure you, and things balance out.
Stop complaining.
