Women's Health - February 2007

I have alleregies and sinus problems.My nose isn't the best at smelling.If a smell isn't loud then I prolly can't smell it.With that being said I started a new job on tues but I ended up quiting(thursday)this morning becuz at work on tues some one was sayin that something was smellin in my area and it made me nervous.I wont say that I did smell but anything is possible.That night I washed all my clothes and took a long shower,still on wed someone said my area was smellin(I was workin in a warehouse).I checked my self when I got home and didn't feel that it was me but was to nervous to settle my mind.At the least I spend a half hour in the shower.Body washes give me yest infects and the last time I used a feminine wash it didn't seem to as well as at first.I don't know any other females who have to go thru all this.I went to one doc but he was a perv and his nurses made me uncomfortable.I'm not in the public alot,I've tried talkin to some fam on the low with no help.

I have been taking water pills for a few days and they aren't making me have to urinate anymore than I was before I started taking them? WHy is this? I thought they made ya pee a lot? Does it take a few days? ANwyas I know taking them isn't the "right way" to shed a few pounds so please spare me that info. I know this already. I know its they are also not healthy to take. I just am for a few days to try them out to drop a few punds. But please spare me any imput about how they don't work to lose. Anyway I am just curioous as to why they aren't at least doing what they should be. Thanks! I am a female by the way I am just under a friends account because mine isn't working.

Please be honest and not mean. My family members smell like fish and I do too whenever we are on our periods. Is their any way to eliminate the smell. It makes me want to not go out into the public. Gross. Why is it that it smells?

our guy friends are always pranking us, and most often they toilet paper our house!!

am not sexually active at all and i don't have a yeast inection yet down there i have this white stuff..thats runs heavy.. no bad odor or anytying but what is it..i don't even think it discharge and i itch alot.. is it possible to have lice down there?? I have been experiencing pain in my lower abdomen, and VERY heavy bleeding (mensus?) I usually only bleed for 3 days (since I was 15) I am only 35 and have had tubal done, no gall bladder or appendix, last month I bleed for 16 days, was off 1 week and now I am on day 8 of bleeding again. I will bleed "normal" for a bit then gush. There are blood clots involved. I have been to the hospital and tested neg. for cancer, endemetiosis, popped cysts, etopic pregnancy, etc. Went to OB-GYN and nothing. Just "we'll keep an eye on it" (Doctor language for I dont know??) Does any of the thousands of women out there have any idea on what could be going on? I have tried the doctors and tried searching the net with no luck. Please only serious answers.

also, if i wear only sports bras are my boobs gunna not grow?
because ive heard that..
it sounds unlikely but my boobs are pretty small, and thats all i wear.

First, i already know just "dont have sex", but that is not the answer that i am looking for. I am human, and sex is as natural as anything else. Second, I already heard of a book about "how you plan your fertitlity", I am also not interested in that. I'm simply just wondering what "your" pill of choice is and one that has not made you experience up and downs emotionally, and no sex drive. I have taken the patch which i absolutely loved, until about every tuesday after i had applied the patch, i would have horrible attacks,such as: vomitting,nausea,hot flash,red, and this all would last for about 10 mins then i would be fine. I have also taken Yasmin, which i was on it for a year. I lost my sex drive, and i became a moody *****, to put into better words. So help me out, and give me some good answers. thanks!

I have my first visit to the gyno tomorrow. Im 15.5 and im going because i have very heavy periods and pain that last for the first 3 days. what will they do to me? what will the exam consist of? are they any medications that could help make my period lighter and the cramps to hurt less. OTC pain pills dont help.
