gynazole is a very good yeast infection medicine. My suggestion is wait for a week and a half to 2 weeks for your vagina to completely heal and go back to normal. If your yeast returns please see your gynecologist. also eat activia, take probiotic supplements such as lactobacillus acidophilis,or yogurt and with yogurt be sure it says live active cultures. also domeboro will help relieve the itching if you still have some.

Yes, that is normal. You are still tender and easily irritated inside. It takes nearly a week to completely get over a yeast infection. Use of an external cream like vagisil can help if the itching starts back up. But you should be back to normal within a week.

You should be eating lots of yogurt...it has acidophilus and bifidus!! They can wipe the nasty yeast right out!!! You can also get the lactobacillus/acidophilus supplements from any health food store.

Steer clear of intercourse, it will irritate you more, and not to mention you can pass it to your partner. You are probably irritated inside, and that is why intercourse is painful. The last time I had a vaginal exam and a yeast infection, I almost jumped off the table it hurt so bad. Don't douche, as this only throws off the ph more.

I would wait about a week to make sure that this infection is cleared up before trying to have sex again. If it still hasn't cleared up by after a week then I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to check to see if some other kind of infection is possibly going on.
