My daughter recently started her period. When we talk about it she says that she hates the word "period". She say's, "Mom can't you find a more suttle word for what i'm going through?" I don't really see what the big deal is but if she feels more comfortible calling it something else, i'm all ears. Any ideas ladies? Caution, she is only eleven so no inappropriate suggestions please.

ive been getting it THREE times a month. I get it at the beginnging of the month for about 4 days, then the middle of the month for around 2 days, and then the end of the month for 5. Anyone know whats going on?!

It usually hurts about when my period is almost over. I don't feel any swelling, or anything unusal, but it is tender to touch. But once my period is over, it's fine. Should this be something that I should worried about?

they removed 2 ovarian cysts, one on each side and im still in alot of pain to this day. i have gone to the doctor three times and she said that i will always have this pain and that im going to have a hard time getting pregnant so they r going to run a test to see if i can or not plus we really want kids. my b/f and i have been trying for almost 2 years now. my doctor told me that the only way to get rid of the pain is to either take everything out or go on some sort of pill that will shut my system down until we want to try to get pregnant. my question is what should i do, should i get a 2nd opion or what. we really want kids but i hate being in this much pain all the time.

Ok... well I get this white opeque stuff in my underwear.. which I think is ovulation.... or something... but sometimes when I go to the bathroom I notice its all in my underwear... What can I do to not make my underwear a mess? Should I were pds all the time? That would make me smell wouldn't it? HELP!!!!

I had an abortion last year. When I had an abortion last year the clinic stated I was 9 weeks pregnant but I had my menstrual cycle the month before. Also when I found out I was pregent in 2003 the doctor stated I was 3 1/2 months but once again I had a period two months before I found out I was pregent.

ok,, im 19 and i just became sexually active a few months ago, now i went the clinic and im currently on the pill (yasmin) now i told my boyfriend of (1 year relationship) to go and check himself w a doc for any diseases.... he hasnt been around and of course me either(he is my first) now i was just wondering if its ok due to the circumtances for us not to use protection any more....i don't want to get pregnant of course but since i'm on the pill and i take it every day at 3 all the time .....cell alarm)...thankx wat do you think????????
