I'm 12, and I haven't got my period yet. But frequently I have had cramps, and all that, but I also have been having frequent headaches, does me about to start having my first period has to do with having frequent headaches? When will I have my first period?

I find it kinda weird cuz my mom got her period when she was 9 or 10, and i'm 12(almost 13...)

I didn't get my period until I was thirteen, but I really don't remember ever having bad headaches like that. I wouldn't worry. Everyone is different and everyone will get their period at a different time.

Well sometimes periods can cause you to be irrataded and can cause headaches. You will probably start your period soon, so always be prepared! You can't tell exactly when. Usually you get cramps within 2 weeks before your period starts. Be prepared!! Your headaches may be caused by stress. If they continue to get worse then see a doctor. I hope this helps! i am in 8th grade (13) and i just started on sunday so on saturday i really didnt feel good , i did not have a headache or cramps but i had a slight fever for a little while but i started on sunday and on monday i woke up with a bad headache and i have been getting cramps and backaches the whole time hope this helps

i dont kno bout the head aches. I am almost 12 and i havent gotten mine yet either. It depends when your mom got hers ask and see. If your mom says she got it when she was 14 then youll probably have it when your 14. the normal ages to have it is ages 9- 18. hope this helps!! :)

Well gurl you will never kno the correct day your period will start on but um...I does sound like it is tryin' to come on....and you r 12 so it might be time cause mines came on in da 5th grade....so urs might come on real soon but just make sure u have yo pads and stuff wit you just in case it come on at school or somewhere you don't want it to come on at.....

im not sure about the headache thing cos i never got that. but you will get it when your ready. ask your girl cousins when they got theirs cos that seems 2 be accuarate cos theres less age gap (just opinion) me and my cousin were the same age (14) but that might be a coincednce once u get your period u will forget why u ever were intrested or excited for it. good luck!!! xx

ur mom got her period kinda young your at a normal age to get ur period ur symptoms sound like u are gonna get it soon but theres really no way to tell exactly when,

actually hunny not even a doctor can tell you. i personally started very late, when i was 16! as oppose to my sister who was 11. Your period is actually genetic and cant be controlld!
