I'm only 19 so I'm not really planning on trying to have a baby in the near future, but this has been bothering me for a while. My periods are really irregular; I'll have it the first week of the month for 3-4 months, then it'll skip to the third for a couple months, then I might skip altogether, then it will be last week of one month into first week of the next. I marched drumline in high school and always had pain and bruising on my hip area from the carriers because they are in no way shape or form designed for women's bodies. Could this have somehow damaged my interal organs and be causing the messed up cycles? I know that women often sync with other women they live with, and I go between being at college with a roommate and home with my sister, so could syncing also cause a change or skipped period while my body's readjusting? I'm really afraid that there is something wrong with me that's going to make it hard for me to have children. Overreaction or reasonable concern?
