Unprotected sex! Are u nuts? Birth control is to control birth and it is not 100% fool-proof. However having unprotected sex, that just makes you 100% fool!

The chance of becoming pregnant on the pill is realtively high. I know at least 5 kids here that were born though the mom was taking birth control. so, look up the paperwork and the failure rate. I guess it's at least 6-19 %. So, you are at risk and no protection is making you at risk for many other things also. so, just have him do the condom and not worry so much about it. that means you are protected very well against pregnancy and diseases somewht too. It's just too risky...I'd have to have papers with a clean bill of health for 6 mos. to take the chance and still that is with assurance that they are not having sex with anyone else. So, think about what you are doing and think about what could happen. You take all the risk and he takes no responsibility...not right. Also, antibiotics make you less protected on the pill as well as other medications and the time of day you take them and some of the lower dose pills are lower protection too.

Birth control pills are supposed to be around 99 % effective in preventing pregnancy, so your chances are good that you will not get pregnant.
Now, if you are like myself, then you like to play the odds, and can beat them. I am the mother of a gorgeous 17 month old daughter that was conceived while on birth control pills. So they are not 100 %. If you would like to get that 100 % effectiveness, then abstinence is the best way. But the next closest thing is you being on the pill and the guy using a condom. It sounds redundant, but it will not only help prevent pregnancy that much better, but it will do some protecting in sexually transmitted diseases.

It is a lower chance of getting pregnant whilst on birth control, but you do significantly heighten the chances by not using a condom.
Using two forms of contraception--condom + birth control pills would give you a very high chance of not becoming pregnant. I would recommend this.
Cheers~

It's a lot less likely that you'll become pregnant (depending on what form you're on the chances are greater) If you are sexually active even though you're on birth control use a condom, if he doesn't want to use one they make female condoms. It's a second layer of protection and it keeps you from getting STD's, birth control does not protect against STD's.

Birth control, especially the pill, is usually totall effective, but not always. User error can result in pregnancy, medications (some antibiotics) can decrease the pill's effectiveness, and sometimes it just doesn't work. Use a condom, too, if being pregnant would be that disastrous.

if you are taking your birth control regularly (every day, at the same time, and have been doing so for the past few months) then you have a much lower chance of getting pregnant. the following website provides the % chance of getting pregnant with effective use of each contraceptive route:
http://www.fda.gov/Fdac/features/1997/conceptbl.html
you should still use condoms, if you dont you are still at risk for getting and spreading sexually transmitted diseases.

Birth control is 99% effective. Protected Sex (ie Condom) is 99% - Utilizing both together gives you increased safety. If you are just on birth control, then you have the same chance if you were not on it and only used a condom.

If your on birth control your chances are lowered allot from anywhere to 98%-99%, try googling the birth control you are on or contacting them to see your chances.

ABSTAIN FROM SEX!!!!!!!!! What is with people and sex today? You can enjoy sex when you are married. In fact, sex is going to be more interesting when you are married because when you are married you will be having sex with someone you know will love you until death...So why settle for less? Why settle for a short-term aka dating relationship? Stop having sex and use all that energy to do something useful with your life. Then you won't have to worry whether or not you will get pregnant
