If you get them when exercising, you may not be in as good as shape as you thought. Or if you exercise on a full stomach, you may get cramps. Try the same things you would do to reduce period cramps like a heating pad, ibuprofin (advil), or a hot bubble bath.

This doesn't mean that you are not in good shape! It means that you arent running enough! After a couple of weeks you should feel better! You should also drink alot of water! If you experience any more cramps, you should take it easy. If this continues, you should go see a doctor!

It sounds like a side stitch. Check out this link for information on prevention and easing the pain while running.

STRETCHING OF THE MUSCLES SPECIALLY IN YOUR ABS (because that's where you mostly had cramps ) BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR EXERCISE IS THE BEST ANSWER TO YOUR CRAMPS.
