some weeks ago i was requested to some research on cramps may be it can help

Possible solution:

(1) If you have regular period take anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen,
aspirin, and naproxen one day before your period is due to arrive.
(2) Having a warm bath or lying down with a heating pad or hot-water bottle
on your lower abdomen may also help
(3) A walk around the block or a few sit-ups will stimulate your muscles to
release feel-good
(4) When resting in bed, elevate your feet or bend your knees and lie on your
side.

Solution related to diet:

(1) Reduce or discontinue consumption of any caffeine containing
beverages or foods
(2) You may be prescribed vitamin-B supplements. These help relieve
symptoms in some persons
(3) Herbal teas(chamomile, mint) may help reduce symptoms of
dysmenorrheal for some women
(4) Get plenty of essential fatty acids, which are found in canned
sardines, salmon, flaxseed oil, and ground flaxseed, among other
things
(5) Take extra magnesium and a multivitamin-and-mineral supplement.
(6) Take extra vitamin E during your menstrual cycles
(7) As much as you can, eliminate trans-fatty acids from your diet
(these are found in foods like
commercially prepared pastries,
which contain margarine, solid vegetable shortening, and other
partially hydrogenated oils).

As far as the cramps go pain relievers are the way to go, not much I can do about irritability than focus it into something, use it constructively. With the boyfriend you may want to mention that you are irritable before you two break out into an argument.
If he's a good one he'll understand.

Midol it sucks it really does not work don't waste your time.

I find that Pamprin works well. PMS symptoms vary. If you feel edgy, take a warm bath and watch your favorite movie. Take time to be alone. Good Luck.
