normally I get those symthomps before my period and it just doesnt make sense...because my period should be coming in another 2 weeks yet.

Everything I've read and been told says that it takes 3-6 months for a HIV winow period is preety solid. 3 months is 97% reliable. 6 months is difinative.

But, many sources say 12 weeks is one milestone, referring to this as essentailly the same as 3 months. Does this mean that 4 week intevals can be excahnged for 1 month? Therefore, is a reading at 24 weeks equal to 6 months?

i went to the doctor on the 8th of this month and she said i was about to ovailt ( hope thats spelled right) so on the 10th me and my huusband had sex and used nothing. the ? is could we have made a baby and could that cause me to have no period this month? a little help would be nice.

I don't have any plans to have babies and have never wanted them and I am fed up with messing around with birth control. It might be easier to just get sterilised. Is that a good idea? I'm 31 & unmarried.

i had a breast reduction a year and a half ago, my husband and I are ttc, i was wondering if and when i do get preggers if i will have the sore and painful breasts. i dont really have any feeling on the areola, and the dr said i probably won't be able to breast feed either!!

I had a mirena coil fitted last week and I'm still getting cramping, like period pains. Does that mean there is a problem or will it get better? I don't want to be a wimp but its quite unpleasant and makes me wish I hadn't got it.

My best friend loves to eat tissue, not just chew but swallow as well. I have told her this must be doing some sort of damage to her insides but she will not listen and quite frankly I am tired of her eating my last roll of Andrex (Best quality she says).

Does anyone know what this habit is called or what it is doing to her?

I went to the gynecologist a few weeks ago to get checked (see my other question) and I was put on birth control pills though I am not sexually active. I was actually on my period a couple of weeks ago (the 6th) and now am bleeding lightly again and have cramps. Is this a normal side effect for the pill?

i found the symptoms of polycystic ovary snydrome in my body... i am 23 now. unmarried. my periods was irregular since 16th age of mine. but at that time doctors said that it is normal for a girl to miss period. so i didnt worry about it. but now i found hair growth in breast stomach near mouth.. and my weight is also going on increasing.. so i consulted another lady doctor she saw my perious reports(scan report of ovary which was taken at the age of 16) and she told there were cyst in my ovary.. and she doubts thats it polycystic ovary syndrome. she gave me
tablets anfler and cyrup m2 tone. and she asked me to do abdomen scan and few test tomorrow.
since i have been taking lots of iron tablets since the age of 16 to regulate period.. iam now afraid to take more tablets again.. is these medicine is for regulating period or vitamin tablets or tablets to balance the harmones? have anybody who faced similar problems like me taken these medicine? iam afraid that iam spoiling my health

I recently had a Cat Scan of my abdomen. According to the results of it, I have a umbilical hernia and opacified loops in the small bowel. Can anyone tell me what "opacified" means? Does this mean that I have a blockage in my small bowel or small intestines? Other than surgery, is there anything else I can do at home to correct this problem? I took my previous pack perfectly all on time n such, i have my 7 day break and i had my period after my 7 day break, i had intercourse on saturday at midnight but when i had sex i was on my 5th pill...

i went to the pharmisist in the morning to buy the morning after pill and i explained everything to the pharmasist and he told me that i am perfectly fine and that i dnt need it at all because i finished my period in that week and that ther is nothing there...

because he is a professional and trained by the NHS should i take the advise and not worry at all....

I am thinking about getting the Mirena IUD. I have tried BC Pills and can never remember to take them. I did the Depo Shot and that messed me up, bleed most of the time while being on it. I have 2 kids and don't want anymore. Im not looking into tying my tubes either.

I was wondering if any of you have used or are using the Mirena IUD, how is your experience with it? Are you very hormonal? How much do you bleed with it? Any dramatic changes with your body since you've been on it? Also does anyone know how long it has been on the market?
