yes, u can get pregnant while on ur period, but it will not happen right then. Sex can effect menstruation. My friend freaked out because she had sex a few days before her period should have started. She started right away. I told her that happens. She thought somehting was wrong. (She's married) So a few months goes by and her period is soo out of whack. It even got heavier than ever. I treid to tell her. I finally told her to not have sex a week before her period was due and it will get back to normal.....it did. Don't worry, right now, anyway :-). It is too soon to tel if u r pregnant. Sounds like intercourse threw it off track.

It's possible to fall pregnant while having your period, yes, but you don't fall pregnant the instant a man ejaculates, so pregnancy is not why your period stopped that day.
It takes a while for the sperm to find the egg, and then a while longer for the egg to get to the womb and implant itself. It's only after implantation has successfully taken place that hormones start doing things like stopping your period.

A period is an egg being relised. But the thing is that you cant get pregenent on a high chance of it. If you miss your next you should take a test. then anthour just to be sure as they are sometimes wrong.
