I am scared of waxing my bikini area, plus because I like every hair gone, so I don't even know if you can wax it all. but anyhow, I like to shave it all of but I get horrible razor burn and these itchy bumps, on the top, for like a week and half after. Because it is so bad I will only do it like once a month but I shave the bottom like every other day. It's just a big hassle but I like to be clean shaved. Is there any way to avoid the bumps and still shave. I have tried the stripper trick with the deodorant. It doesn't work for me. If there isn't anything I can do if I shave, what other options do I have to simplify things

I am 17 years old right now. I have had yeast infections around once a year since I was 9. Recenty, I've been getting more. I've always had burning for about an hour after I use the bathroom, and it hurts to sit down. I am allergic to Monistat, so my doctor prescribes me Diflucan. Diflucan works wonderfly, but after 2 "cure-all" doses, the yeast infection came back. I have tried all of the folk remedies, like vinegar and water douches and yogurt. Nothing has worked.

Could I have a more persistant problem?

Should my body "stay on track" as if I were taking the pill and have my period come at the normal time that it would if I was taking the pill still? I'm concerned it might "show up" when it wants to. Has anyone had a similar expierience? I have been on the pill for the last 5 years or so and never had to skip a month, but I was advised by a doc to hold off on taking them. Before I could get an answer from the docs about what to take when, I missed the window. It was too many to make up at that point, so I was told to skip it! What do you girls think???

I have seen women without their fake nails and it was discusting. My co-worker had no real nail left, it looked chewed up and the nail bed looked abnormal from years of wearing these. The chemicals can not only ruin the nails but your health too. Why do women do this??????

Hey all, so I just got back from a trip to the E.R., where they had to give me morphine to stop my menstrual cramps. Several people, including the E.R. nurse and doctor, told me I should consider taking the Pill to help with cramps. I've had bad luck in the past (about 4 - 6 years ago) with mood swings, breast tenderness, and/or even worse stomach and menstrual cramps.

about 5 or 6 years ago i tried the Pill (Ortho-tricycline, I think, but not sure) - HORRIBLE issues with mood swings and irritibility.
4 years ago I tried the ortho-evra patch - no mood swings but bad menstrual cramps, nearly constant stomach cramps, and breast swelling and tenderness (took it for 3 months, these didn't significantly decrease).

Has anyone who is sensitive to BC had good luck with some of the low-dose pills or other options? Since I'm just using it for cycle control/cramps, not as a contraceptive, I want to minimize the side effects.
