No, it is actually a great idea. Prenatal vitamins are the best kind of vitamins anyone can take.

If you are trying to get pregnant, it is not a bad idea to be taking prenatal vitamins as they are high in folic acid. Folic acid is helpful in fertility. Plus you will want to take them after giving birth. If you are not trying to get pregnant or nursing, I would then switch to just a multi-vitamin.

I don't believe so. It may have a little higher dose of folic acid, but it wouldn't hurt to take them. They are more expensive though, so you might switch to a regular multivitamin after you are through with the prenatals.

I have taken prescription prenatal vitamins for years. I have a folic acid deficiency and they have enough of that to keep me from being anemic.

No not at all the ingredients are almost the exactb same as multivitamins (with the exception of folic acid)

No it's not! Actually, It'll be pretty good for you because they're there to replace everything that we're losing when we are pregnant. So, on a daily basis, you're constantly losing nutrients that you need.

not at all, i was on pre-natals for over a year before i got pregnant, doc put me on them because i was having soo much trouble conciving if nothing else youll have great nails and hair!
