so how long can it take to lose 10-20 pounds?

I'm 35. Am I too old for pills? Is it better with the patch? I want something that hinders fertilization, so I dont want an IUD and rid myself of fertilized eggs every month, if you know what I mean. It's a moral issue for me. So, anyone in their 30's or even older who can say what they use? Then I can ask my doctor with the ideas I'm given.

Lately I have been prone to sinus and bladder infections. Is vitamin C best to combat this? How much should I take daily? Isn't there a vitamin that aids in obsorption of the vitamin C?

i lost my pack and got a new one i lost it on a tuesday but i didnt remember which tuesday so i accidetnyl took the wrong tuesday pill a week before i was actually supposed to take it..so it made me basically delay my period and on the week of the green pills i started bleeding on the 3rd day for 3 days is this my period or just bleeding from not taking the pill for 4 days in a row?

So here I am.. 35, and starting the path... Anyone out there have some good advise for me?

I don't want to be medicated.. and the doctor wants me to wait as well.

Wondering if people have any good advise as to coping on a day to day basis.

My main complaints are:
Hot flashes
Not tired
Itchy skin
SUPER MOODY

Also, did any of you notice headaches increasing? Cause I have been having them alot lately.. but was chaulking them up to my mood and feeling stressed.

Problems down below with a white'ish discharge? I have heard that diabetes undiagnosed could cause women to get this problem is this true, when you have a auto immune disease, I recently found out I have hashimoto thyroidism?

I’ve been tested for infections and all came back clear... I’m looking for a resolution, I have a large amount of discharge and I am at a loss to why

I know that when you have diarrhea you should use backup, but here's my question:

I have mild IBS so almost everyday I will have one bowel movement that is a little abnormal..usually the stool shape is thinner or flatter but it is never full blown diarrhea. The stool is still formed, just not ideally formed. Does this mean I should use backup? I don't have diarrhea everyday (or ever, really), just variations in stool shape. Would this affect my pill that was already absorbed almost 12 hours ago?

I have serious back problems and have been taking vicodin for over 4 years now. I just yesterday found out that I'm pregnant. I cannot stop pain meds as I'm unable to function without them(because of the pain). I know that breatfeeding is out of the question, but how dangerous is it to my unborn child?

The last three months my periods have come on time but are lighter than normal and only last about 2 days. I started working out regularly about 3 months ago and I was wondering if this was the cause. I took a pregnancy test the other day and it was negative, but I am not sure if I can trust the test 100% because my urine was clear when I took it. What are the possibilities?

I just got done dying my hair with Clairol hair dye in black, and while i was washing it out some water from my head went down my nose and i swallowed it, it didnt burn or anything and the dye was probably very dilluted from the water, i dont feel sick, but is there any chance that i may need medical attention? remember it was just a small bit of water.

My mother was diagnosed at last mammogram to have microcalcifications in her right breast. She went for biopsy and the hospital said they could not clearly locate such "spots". They said she could wait 4 mo. and get another mammogram. She is 55 and has family history of breast cancer-her grandmother died from it-and she also has Parkinson's Disease. She doesn't feel comfortable waiting because we looked up microcalcifications and they said it was "rapidly growing cells". Should she get a second opinion?? Please help-she doesn't believe it's "nothing to worry about".
