Generally, yes, that's how it would work. But that's in a perfect world. Bodies can do strange things because of stress, hormone fluctuation, and particularly age. Meaning, if you're under 18 and writing this periods are totally unpredictable at that age.

Your periods and your ovulations all occur within a time frame. You ovulate 6-10 days after your period. There is no definite time schedule.

no, not necessary, you can still ovulate on the same day. It all depends on your fallopean tube and ovaries.
