I'm thinking about getting my AA in nursing, and the applying for an apprenticeship with a local midwife. I'm 25, and I have the time and money to invest in this. Any feedback from midwives out there?

hey, i'm not a midwife either, but i thought very seriously about becoming one. i may still do it one day, but right now i don't have the time. i'm sure it will be a very rewarding career. if you'd like, send me an email and i will share what information i have about midwifery with you. ghettochick_sweet@yahoo.com

I m not a midwife but I ve done enough research to cover the base of becoming one,for future mid-wifes out there if your in highschool or not id go for your aa or your as in college its a 2 year program then go straight to a nursing school to get your bsn, then you ll need to go to a midwife school. Should generally take around 4-6 years.

I'm not a midwife, but I'm someone who worked for years with pregnant and parenting teens. Those that had the most positive, easy birthing experiences had them with midwives. So I really hope you consider it. Midwives are great!
