Before a pap smear the woman is asked to use the restroom, therefore decreasing any chance of urine being passed during the exam. Also, flatulence is fairly uncommon. Besides, doctors are professional, mature people. If either of these things occured they would help the patient handle it quickly, with care and diginity.

Obstetricians might, but most women are able to hold it. Actually, my doctor told me before my pap smear that if I needed to go the the restroom, I should do so before the exam, because some people have trouble holding it after the exam. Maybe she had a bad experience with it...

lmao..no women dont pee on the doctors for check ups
but some have been know to lose control in the labor room..
women can control body functions for awhile...
