....she gave me sarafem and my hair fell out in a round place but I have animals too, I went to a dermatoloist and he said nothing was there? no fungus? My dr. said it was the sarafem, so I quit taking it. Now I am more depressed than ever and I feel so weak and tired all the time and my hair is still falling out...what could it be. should I get checked for lupus now, I'm tired of going to the dr. and leaving empty handed.

i may have irritable bowel syndrome. i have the following symptoms: gas, cramping, occasional abdominal pain, fever occasionally, belching, occasional acid indigestion. some cramping leads to going to the bathroom, i cant say whether its just loose stools or actual diarreah. ive been tested for so many things with my doc except stomach xrays. so im thinking of seeing a gastro doctor next week. in the meantime, what foods can i eat with this stuff occuring? ive been eating grilled chicken with teriyaki glaze, chunky brand chicken noodle soup, yogurt, and hot dogs. my doctor gave me librax for my stomach to take up to 3 times a day. i only take once, maybe this is the cause of the still-continuing-cramping? im okay during the day most this stuff occurs at night, or the next morning. my main concern is what to take for lunches while at work. ive been buying hot dogs..dont know if thats such a good idea or not. ive been on liquids for a long time bc i thought this was a stomach flu. i'm 21

Brief background..College sophomore student, 18 years old in a year monogamous relationship..

Anyways I have been thinking these days that maybe abstinence is right for me. I tried it so many times but I failed because I really love and enjoy having sex with my wonderful man and my libido is above the ceiling...

I'm using a very effective birth control (copper iud plus condoms). I know it's very effective but I don't know how effective. I'm not really ready for pregnancy. Is abstinence the answer? Does anybody feel the same way that I do? Because as of now I kinda feel alone on this. Thanks in advance for any replies

My period started mid-July, and has some days when it is light and some days when it is medium, there were just a few when it was heavy. I am starting to get worried, and honestly I'm just sick of it. I don't have an OBGYN here - I am living in a foreign country where it would be hard for me to get to see a doctor. Is it absolutely necessary, or should I just wait for it to pass.

My doctor mentioned I might want to get tested for this two weeks ago (back when I thought I was having another kidney stone). I didn't think much of it then, but I've done a little more research, and it's starting to make more sense as a cause of this pain.

Anyone out there have it? How is it diagnosed? If you have it, how are you treating it? Have you been able to have children?

I appreciate your insights.

I always knew that pap tests for HPV were an important part of visiting the gynocologist, and that the virus could lead to cervical cancer.

What I did not know (perhaps foolishly, but I was never told this) is that HPV is a sexually transmitted disease. What is worse is that men can easily be carriers of this disease and never know, because there are no symptoms and they are not tested for it. So a man carrying this disease can pass it on to women unknowingly. And because women infected with HPV also have no symptoms, you will not know if you have it unless you are tested regularly. This is a big deal because it can lead to cancer.

A friend of mine is dealing with this right now and I was shocked to learn how easily it can be transmitted without anyone ever detecting it.

Get tested, ladies. Cancer is no joke. And cervical cancer can prevent you from having children. You should be having a Pap test for HPV once every year.
