I've been taking care of my very ill Grandmother for a while now and I have been having a lot of anxiety and have become really depressed. Any Ideas on how to feel better and be happy again?

See a psychiatrist to check out and medical possibilities. See a counselor to process some of the emotions.

Eat healthy, regular meals; exercise; get plenty of regular sleep; make sure to schedule time with friends; set aside time for activities you enjoy; and get a massage.

If need be for drugs - xanex short term or zoloft longer term.

Check out the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine for an excellent discussion on how to achieve good mental attititudes via tried techniques, and also how to deal with anxiety and/or depression with natural alternatives. The book is a gold mine of info and a little study should pay off in big rewards health wise.
Good luck.

You can check out this site. I understand it has good techniques that have been successful and don't require the use of medication. Check it out at:
