No, you do NOT.
Your tampon is inserted into your vaginal canal (the passage through which a baby is born).
Your urine passes from your bladder through your urethra ...a small opening in FRONT of the vagina.
These are two totally different passages and there is absolutely NO connection between the two. You cannot insert a tampon into your urethra and you do NOT urinate through your vagina.
Use a tampon with utmost confidence!

No you do not have to remove the tampon to pee. Just make sure to remove it at least every two to three hours depending on flow level and DONT forget to remove the last one used at the end of the period.

You do not have to remove the tampon to pee. Although, it is healthier to change it every time you go to the bathroom or every 1-2 hours.

No. You just leave the tampon in for up to 8 hours, and take it out earlier if you feel you need to change it. But you can go to the bathroom with it in just fine.

No, you don't have to remove it when you pee because you don't even stick the tampon in the pee hole.

do not listen to the yes answers, no you do not, a tampon will not stop the urine stream. Your vagina and urethra (pee hole) are to different holes. Do make sure to change your tampon often according to the box directions

Honey, the tampon doesn't go in your urethra (where you pee from), it goes in your vagina (where you menstruate from). So of course you DON'T need to remove the tampon to pee.
You should really talk to your Mom about this.

if it's internal, no you don't :) it's inside the vagina, and will not be affected.the important thing is to insert it as deep as possible.don't worry, it has a string so you can remove it when the time has passed.or when you feel pressure.good luck :) if still worried, i can also advise you to hold the string so it won't get wet.
