two weeks ago i had a pricking painful when i pass urine, then for one week it was normal...now i get back the same picking pain. also i havent get my menses yet...n today..i notice a very dark brown discharge. i dunno this is menses or what. anything wrong wif me...i didnt get involve in sex for 2 weeks. the brown discharge is not smelly. but i am worried.

I started the birth control pill Loestrin on the first day of my period, and have been taking it every day at around the same time (within about an hour or two) but I am now on the tenth day of my period and although it is lighter than when it first started, it has not stopped. Should I be concerned about this??? Thanks!

sorry to ask this twice...i just want a lot of opinions........thanks for putting up with me.


i am really realy late for "just starting" if it didn't happen this week my mom was going to take me to get some blood tests...anyway. i did start...thank goodness. (i get dizzy just thinking about shots/needles) but ummm it's a lot! how much blood is too much. what's normal? and is there anything else i should expect? please olnly real answers.

I had a non reversible tubal ligation that was done nearly 14 years ago. There have been several occasions where I thought I could be pregnant. To this day I have been fortunate not to be. But I still worry that it could happen. At almost 43 i'm not ready to start being a new mommy all over again especially not when my children are 14 & 15. I figured if it's non reversible I should be safe and not have to worry, I mean that was the whole idea in having this type of tubal ligation.

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and I have to make my 2nd trip ever to the Gynecologist because of my problem to get checked next month, but I'm freaking out. My mom says they have to check me for sure this time (first visit I wouldn't let them do anything) but I don't want some stranger touching me on my most sensitive area of my body. They know I'm a virgin and plan to check me the "virgin way" (or so I've heard), but I am really nervous. What should I do?

I had my cycle as usual @ the end of Feb. & Mar. But I haven't gotten my cycle since march. At the beginning of March me & my boyfriend got back together & now I'm pregnant. What is the chance that the baby is not my boyfriends?, I didn't think it was even a chance but the guy from february call me and asked me if it was his and I told him no but it got me to thinkin. I've been trying to use tampons for the longest time and it just doesn't seem to work! I know how to put them in and for god's sake im not even a virgin so it should be pretty simple! It seems like everytime i try to put one in it goes in crooked.. left or right but never directly in the middle... i push it towards my back but it still seems to go in crooked and it does not feel very nice.. could i possible have a crooked cervix? I've never had a pap but my gyno has never made any comments about it. I switched to plastic applicators to see if that would help.. it is not as painful but it still seems to go in a bit crooked. Also, it seems like they give me more cramps.. the tampons i have now are a lot shorter than the ones i originally tried.. if i try to go longer i can not push it in far enough, it actually starts to hurt my abdomen.. the smaller ones just make me cramp more.. not only that.. but a lot of times the blood doesn't go through the tampon and goes straight to the string!

serious answers only please...i know this may sound like too much information.. and i'm already set for a doctor's appt so i don't need that advice... but still i was wondering is it normal to have discharge everyday? i been having this for a while now (months not just weeks)... some of my friends says it's normal and others are saying differ.. so what is it ... am i going to the doctor for nothing if its normal or not?
