My wife thinks she may be pregnant but I dont know! Her period was the last week in June. She says her low back hurts and she is really tired and ill. what do you think. i told her no that she was just wishing she was

It sounds like it's a little early to tell. Yes, those are signs, but the lower back shouldn't start already. Has she been overworked lately?
The pregnancy test will pick it up a bit earlier than advertised, but she's not even late yet so I think you need to wait a couple of weeks before you can get a definitive answer here.

She could be pregnant but she would be better off going to a doctor or taking a early pregnancy test first to make sure... some women do have the early signs of pregnancy and dont realize it.. where as some do... I had morning sickness after being late a week.... And I had given up on getting pregnant... and wham I was pregnant...

If her period was the last week in june it would be to early to take a prego test and way to early to be having pregnancy symptoms.
I have had 4 pregnancys.

If it's something as important as being pregnant.
I would shell out the $9 and head on over to Wal*Mart,
pick up a pregnancy test... and go from there.
People on Yahoo Answers are not going to be able to help you.

low back pain and very tired and ill sounds like the first weeks of pregnancy to me. on the other hand, it also sounds a bit like a bad case of pms, or maybe psychosomatic bun in the oven.
obviously, there's only one way to find out.

Tell her to take a pregnancy test. That's the only way you'll know for sure.

Buy her a pregnancy test and do it with her. Make her feel like you want to have a baby... If she doesn't want to take one, either she is scared or she knows she isn't pregnant... Beware!
