I can hear a really high pitched kind of electrical sound when a tv is on and the sound is muted. Then when the tv is turned off I don't hear it anymore. No one else in my family can hear that high pitched noise. Also, when a door opens and it doesn't creak, I can't really describe it but I can hear it. When someone walks into the room I can hear them. (on carpet, you can't hear the footsteps)
Why is it I can hear these things that others can't??

im 23 year old girl and its about 1 year i have pain in my @n@l and its irritate when i urinate.. i just feel there is a cut there and it is burning..its not sth i cant bear..i saw a doctor and she said its because of infection but when i used the drugs they didnt help..im still virgin and i dont have constipation

I get SO nervous when I have to talk in front of people. My voice starts to quiver, I shake, and I don't talk clearly. When I have to read something like an essay in front of the class I freak out. Even when I'm sitting in my seat reading an article I freak out (nobody is even looking at me). I can't take it anymore. Does anyone know how to control my fear and getting nervous? HELP!!

I have stretch marks on my arms from lifting weights. They are noticeable and embrassing. I have been using some creams and lotions recently. If I went to see a dermatologist, would they give me any prescriptions creams for my problem? I am thinking of seeing a doctor but if they are going to tell me what I already know than it's pointless. Thanks.

My friend has really bad asthma, he has a bad cold just now and is telling me that he cant breath, hes been taking his inhaler like mad but its not helping, can anyone suggest anything he can do right now to help until he can go to the doctors tomorrow?

I love to eat garlic. But I also reek of garlic because I like to eat lots of garlic. Even if I put on perfume or body spray, I still think I smell like garlic. Now I haven't gotten any complaints from anyone, but I just wish I didn't smell like garlic.

i went to the doctor, he checked my heart rate and everything he said bloood pressure, heart rate was perfect.
it feels like theres a pressure or something on my right side of the chest where my lung is.

but ive been dealing with anxiety.
and this is my first week on anxiety meds so maybe that may cause it?
i can breathe, but its like a pressure around my chest kinda?

If I think about it, or if it is quiet, I can hear a constant ring in my head....not my ears though, like so many people describe tinnitis to do. It is very hard to explain. It is a constant tone, kinda high pitched, almost like when you take one of those hearing tests when they play the tone that is almost out of our hearing range. I guess it is a high frequency but not a high tone, if that even makes sense. The only thing I know is that it is not in my ears, more like right in the center of my brain. I have panic disorder to boot, so I get to thinking I may have a tumor, or what if this gets increasingly louder to the point I can't stand it and want to die.

I had minor surgury this morning - I was given an IV of valium, then three other things. I came home and went to sleep, woke up and the fact of the matter is that I am just plain discombobulated. That was 12 hours ago - how long before this stuff wears off? I have to work early tommarrow and I need my wits about me. Am I expecting too much?

well i get this every winter and my lips are like really "tight" and whenever i tlak it hurts since theyre streching...so i put on vasalene on my lips (i think im allergice to chapstik cuz of the extra stuff they put in it) well when it wears out, i lick my lips and it gets relieved for a little whil but then in like two seconds it burns and its worse!!!! over time the skin around my lips are red in a like red ring..is there like somehting in my deit that did this mebbe im not getting enough water or something...?
