I get SO nervous when I have to talk in front of people. My voice starts to quiver, I shake, and I don't talk clearly. When I have to read something like an essay in front of the class I freak out. Even when I'm sitting in my seat reading an article I freak out (nobody is even looking at me). I can't take it anymore. Does anyone know how to control my fear and getting nervous? HELP!!

I know what you're going through. Try getting through it when you're doing an 12 min presentation. The more you speak in front of people the easier it is. Try to practice things with friends before until you're comfortable with the material. It helps a lot. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Whatever you do, don't imagine the ppl in their underwear. It does not help! lol
Good luck!

Seriously, look into a public speaking class. It'll train you to work through this fear. I bet you're actually very good.

Me too! Grr, I think I'll star this question.
Anyway, most people just tell you to suck it up but it's easier said than done.
