Ok, if a person's arm goes numb...and they can't breath because they're hyperventilating...and they think they're having a heart attack but they go to the doc and it's not a heart attack but the hyperventilating was caused by a diet pill...what caused the arm to go numb and stay numb?

Lately I've really gone off sugary food because I seam to get ulcers on my tongue after I eat them. Do you think ulcers are caused by sugary food or is it something else. I have one now and it's doing my head in! Why are they so irritating and what are they caused by?

I walk for miles along a certain street to relax, but every time, I notice this old man who also walks the street. Only, the poor man is walking literally bent over, I mean, REALLY bent over, it looks like he's picking up a penny, only that's how he walks. I can't imagine the pain he must be in. He has no wheelchair, no walker, not even a cane. I pass by him a few times a day sometimes, and I really want to help make things more bearable for this man. I suspect he's homeless, but I see him with a portable radio and sometimes, grocery bags. I hate to sound judgemental, but he looks like he could be mentally unstable, so I've been too nervous to do anything but give him a kind smile or say a shakey "hello". I volunteer for a nursing home. Do you think I should buy a cane and just hand it to him (how much do they cost?)? Do you think the hospital can make arrangements to get this man a wheelchair? I just can't ignore this problem. What can I do to help him?

I have had them done before but had to remove them for a surgery and I want to get them done again...any ideas on what will help dull the pain this time. Cause last time it hurt like hell!

I am a college student, and I have had trouble sleeping the last few weeks. My problem is i can fall asleep right away, I tend to wake up alot during the night, and sometimes I sleep the whole night, but wake up feeling like crap, have any ideas please let me know , thanks

I am trrying contacts again. They are confortable and all I just can't seem to get clear visiion. I am wondering how many people tried that mono vision and what was their experience with contact lenses. How long does it generally take to get used to them so you can see clearly. i have tried progressive glasses as well and could not adjust to them. at all stuck help

my little sister is really sick right now. and the doctors think she has mono but the test results arent back yet. anyway innthe meantime she is laying in bed and resting and taking medicines and what not. but she hasnt eaten ANYTHING all today and all day yesturday?! is that ok? anything good i can suggest for her to eat?

My husband,myself..AND our dog..(mainly the dog) had been eating out of a peanut butter jar, that we found out today had the code 2111 on it. I'm mainly concerned about the dog. I am a resident assistant at a University and I noticed many girls on my floor do not wash their hands, even when we had a nasty outbreak of a gastrointestinal illness. Does anyone know where i could find a picture of what your hands look like when you leave the bathroom without washing? Like a picture that would simulate the large amount of germs on your hands?

Also, how about some ways to encourage these girls to wash their hands. Im grossed out.

OK I have runny nose, sore throat, it hurts when I talk, I took medicine like 5 times and nothing is happening. Oh and I always fall asleep... or is that just because the medicine makes you drowsy? My head feels hot and I need to drink alot what's this sickness?
