I am trrying contacts again. They are confortable and all I just can't seem to get clear visiion. I am wondering how many people tried that mono vision and what was their experience with contact lenses. How long does it generally take to get used to them so you can see clearly. i have tried progressive glasses as well and could not adjust to them. at all stuck help

I used to wear contacts, and it was nothing more than a nuisance. I had Lasik surgery done 10 yrs ago for about 5 grand for both eyes, when only pros did the surgery and I love it, still 20/20. Do not shop around for the cheapest price, find the most qualified doctor. Good luck. Theres too many fly by night doctors that do this surgery for a couple hundred bucks- beware

There are several videos on you tube that will show you step by step how to put them in . Just be patient and after a few weeks it will get easier. Just make sure the contact is the right way.. if it has a lipped edge like a bowl it is inside out it should be smooth. Lift your upper lid with the opposite hand and try to look Straight ahead to get the contact as close to the center of your eye as possible. Try placing a drop of solution in the contact ( while on your finger) before putting in your eye so it will help float into place.
